Nothing better than a fresh wintery day on the beach in Cornwall. Blue skies, a clear breeze and soft sand with breathtaking views are the perfect ingredients for a morning walk. We started almost every day with coffee and home made shortbread cookies at The Cabin Beach Cafe in a village that goes by the very hard to pronounce name of Perranuthnoe. Here we fantasized about once living in the big white house overlooking the sea. It’s cold now, but the cute garden of The Cabin must be lovely in spring and packed during summer.
P.S. Looking for a cottage in this neighborhood? Ennys Cottages – with a wood burner, the best beds we ever slept in (see picture below) and gigantic bathtubs – are only a mile form this beach and perfect for couples or small families.
