Say romantic weekend break and I say Paris (I mean who wouldn’t…) It really is the perfect city for strolls along the Seine with your lover, a strong cup of coffee on a terrace, a little shopping and long dinners with lots of wine. We visited many times, and don’t mind to do a quick tour of our favourites as soon as we are checked in. Like picking up my favourite tea at Ladurée (Oolong Violet), drooling over vintage bags at Les Trois Marches and picking up second hand books or a great gift at the book stalls along the water.
Another favourite: Didier Ludot’s shops in the Jardin du palais Royal gallery. He has one shop with vintage designer wear and accessories and a boutique where he only sells Les Petites Robes Noires – Little Black Dresses. Perfect if you’re looking for that one dress that will stay with you forever. Last time we were window shopping we stumbled upon this really cure cafe where I had a very simple, yet delicious breakfast: Greek yoghurt with a dot of cream, honey and grilled pine-nuts.
