You see it in wild wild west movies. Dry land, cactus plants and a horizon that’s trembling from the heat. To actually be in the middle of this kind of landscape feels like walking through a movie set. It’s beautiful! The flora and fauna are so different from what we know at home in Amsterdam.
We drove around Usery Mountain National Park right before the sun disappeared which gave us a chance to not only get bitten by a million mosquitos, but to take some amazing sunset shots as well. It’s a nice alternative to the palmtree-sunset-photograph, don’t you think?
