What better way to end a day full of exploring than pulling up a chair near an Inglenook fireplace with a home-brewed Whiskey. The Bushmills Inn is said to be the oldest distillery and so after a day of hiking in the rain (this is Ireland after all), we stop at the Bushmills Inn restaurant. The warm and cosy interior is picture perfect and while we take off our Hunter Boots and wet jackets we decide to make one of the wooden booths our home for the night. Great food – our photographer can’t wait to try the Ulster sirloin of beef that’s been on the menu since the start -, friendly staff and live music coming from the bar. We get why this place is so popular amongst tourists and locals.
