Picture this: It’s 42 degrees Celsius outside and a hot wind – kind of like a blow-dryer – makes your Fab India kaftan stick to your arms. Your legs even. Escape the bustling markets, busy streets of Old Delhi and mile-long traffic jams. Instead take a ricksha to Lodi Gardens, a huge public park containing tombs from the old dynasties that ruled Northern India some centuries ago. Fresh green grass, bright pink flowers and the coolness inside the old domes makes it a hotspot for morning workouts and afternoon strolls. We loved the serenity and absolute stillness that is even more evident after a few days in loud crazy Delhi!
