We love Reykjavik. The town has cosy bars, stores that sell home made knitted sweaters (I bought a grey one that you can see right here on our blog) and hip restaurants that are popping up everywhere. We stayed in Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura where they upgraded us to a beautiful pink suite! The walls, blankets, carpet and chairs were all bright pink. Well you gotta love that! After checking in we went straight to dinner at Grillmarkadurinn, which simply means grill market and serves grilled fish, meat and vegetables. Head downstairs first for drinks and make sure to get a table upstairs right next to the fish skin wall. One of the owners told us that the wall is created with over a 100 fish and that the place smelled really bad for a few weeks. Not anymore, I can promise you that! If after all the shopping and food you’re still hungry – like some of us were – get a late night snack at b5, a bar and bistro that has a secret burger joint in the back that sells the best burgers in town!
