When I think of Nantucket I think of grey wooden houses, white fences and light blue and lilac hydrangeas. Well, that’s exactly what you get. Our hotel, The White Elephant Village, was just as charming as I expected and fitted this picture perfectly. The rooms were huge (almost as big as our Amsterdam apartment) with a living area, luxury bathroom and bedroom with XXXXXL bed. Loved it! And the location? Couldn’t be better, since it was only a stone’s throw from town with its bustling restaurants and charming boutiques. The juice bar, cookies and DVD-collection made it very tempting to stay in, but the pancakes at Black Eyed Susan’s got us out of bed every morning. More about that tomorrow!
