When we are not traveling we finally have time to think back to all the great trips we made. Singapore was definitely one of our favorite trips and this weekend we found some leftover images we made during our stay. It was as if we were there again: getting foot massages and having our future read to us by a fortune teller in China Town and visiting the gigantic temples where preparations were made for a festival.
Another great memory and surprise: the fact that hidden between all the concrete of the city you’ll find an entire jungle where you can get lost for hours. The elevated bridge is a must if you want to spot monkeys and feel like you’re flying above the trees. What I miss everyday: the fantastic shakes and cakes at P.S. Cafe (when are they opening one in Amsterdam, please!) and I’m sure our photographer wishes he could spend another afternoon in the gigantic electronic mall, buying lenses, iPads, iPods and all the other iStuff he’s addicted to.
If you are planning to travel to this great city, don’t forget to visit the Singapore Flyer: Yes, it’s a touristic hotspot, but it’s one you don’t want to miss: the views are amazing and the images you get even better! I hope we get to experience this place again soon…
